This summary is here to help you find your way. The full terms below are what apply.
Agreeing to these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Wilson Partners, LLC (“we”, “us”), the company behind CalDone™. When you first open CalDone, we show you these terms and ask you to tap Agree and continue. By tapping Agree and continue, you agree to CalDone’s Terms of Use, confirm you are 18 or older, and acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We keep a record of which version you agreed to and when. If you do not agree, please do not use CalDone.
You agree that we can give you these terms, notices and records electronically and that tapping Agree and continue is your electronic signature. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are linked directly from the acceptance screen. If you arrive through a shared link or complimentary access path before seeing the normal welcome screen, CalDone presents this acceptance step before you continue to the event-review flow.
Before CalDone sends your first schedule to Google Gemini, it separately tells you that the schedule will be sent to Google Gemini for processing and asks your permission.
Who can use CalDone
You must be 18 or older and live in the United States.
What CalDone does, and what you check
CalDone turns a schedule you photograph, upload or paste into calendar events. It finds the events, asks you about anything unclear, lets you choose which ones to add, and adds them to the calendar you pick, with Undo if you change your mind. To read schedules, CalDone uses automated technology, including an AI service from Google.
Please check your events. Schedules vary, and CalDone can misread a date, time or place, or miss an event. Review events before you add them and check your calendar afterwards. You decide which events to add and are responsible for relying on them. If something is wrong, use Undo or edit the event in your calendar, and check anything important against the original schedule. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under laws that cannot be limited.
Free schedules and your subscription
Free schedules. Each phone includes 2 free schedules, once. Deleting your CalDone data or reinstalling CalDone does not give them back, and a phone CalDone cannot check does not receive free schedules. A schedule counts as used when CalDone first reads it or first adds its events to your calendar, whichever comes first. Adding a schedule someone shared with you also uses one. Using Undo does not give a free schedule back.
Subscription. After your free schedules, CalDone costs $14.99 per year, plus any applicable tax, through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before you subscribe, and the price shown in the purchase flow is the price that applies.
- Your subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. CalDone provides a direct Manage Subscription link at Step 1 → Privacy & data that opens the appropriate App Store or Google Play subscription-management page. You can also manage or cancel through your Apple Account or Google Play account settings.
- To avoid a new annual charge, cancel before your renewal date. If you are using a free or discounted Apple trial, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- If you cancel, you keep paid access until the end of the current paid subscription period unless the app store or applicable law provides otherwise.
- Because Apple or Google processes the purchase, refund requests are handled through the store that billed you, under that store’s policies and applicable law.
- If the subscription price changes, Apple or Google provides the store notices and consent requests required by its rules. CalDone also provides any additional notice required by applicable law before a changed price takes effect.
- For annual subscriptions, CalDone provides an in-app renewal reminder 15 to 45 days before renewal. The reminder identifies CalDone, the annual renewal price, the renewal timing and how to cancel. Your app store may send additional renewal notices.
- Use Restore purchases to regain paid access on a new phone when the app store supports restoration.
- Deleting the app or deleting your CalDone data does not cancel your subscription.
Access codes. We may give access codes for complimentary access. Codes have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may have limits or expiration dates. We may end complimentary access with notice.
Your schedules and sharing
Your content stays yours. You keep any rights you have in the schedules you add. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to process them only to run CalDone for you: to read them, show you the events, add them to your calendar, and host links you choose to share. This permission ends when the content is deleted from our systems.
Use schedules you’re allowed to use. Add and share only schedules you have the right to use and share.
Sharing is your choice. Anyone with your link or QR code can see and add the shared events, and can share them onward. Send links only to people you intend to.
Using CalDone fairly
You agree not to:
- break the law or violate anyone’s rights with CalDone;
- add or share content that is harmful, deceptive, harassing or not yours to share;
- get around usage limits, for example by automating requests or resetting or disguising a phone to get more free schedules;
- copy, reverse engineer, probe, overload or interfere with CalDone or our servers, except where the law allows;
- scrape or extract data from CalDone to train AI models or build a competing product.
We may limit, suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Other companies and the app stores
Other companies’ services. CalDone works with services from other companies, such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for those third-party services.
App stores. These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google, and Apple and Google are not responsible for CalDone or for supporting it. If you downloaded CalDone from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Our license to you. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use CalDone on devices you own or control, under these terms and applicable app-store rules.
Changes to CalDone and ending use
We may update, change or stop parts of CalDone. You may stop using CalDone at any time and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we stop offering CalDone. If we stop offering CalDone entirely, we will give at least 30 days’ notice in the app and stop future renewals so users are not charged for a renewal period we do not intend to provide. Refund requests for time already paid are handled through Apple or Google under their policies and applicable law.
Your legal rights come first
Nothing in these terms takes away, limits or waives any right, remedy or warranty that the law does not allow to be taken away, limited or waived, including your rights under the Kansas Consumer Protection Act (K.S.A. 50-623 and following) and the consumer-protection laws of the state where you live. The next three sections apply only as far as the law allows.
What we can and can’t promise
We work hard to make CalDone accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or that it will never make a mistake. This does not limit any warranty the law gives you, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose that applies to the transaction.
Limit on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as a missed event, lost time or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about CalDone is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply to claims for breach of an implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or to any other claim or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
Claims caused by your misuse
If someone else brings a claim against us because you deliberately misused CalDone, or added or shared content you knew you were not allowed to use, you agree to cover the direct out-of-pocket losses and reasonable legal costs we actually incur because of that claim, to the extent applicable law permits. This does not apply to claims caused by our own negligence, breach of these terms or unlawful conduct, and it does not require you to pay any amount that applicable law does not permit.
Law and disputes
Kansas law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, apart from its rules about which law applies, except where the law of the state you live in gives you protections that cannot be waived.
Disputes. Please contact us first at support@caldone.app; most problems can be solved quickly. If we cannot resolve a dispute, it will be decided by the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas, and you and we agree to those courts, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim where you live. Either of us may bring a claim in small-claims court where it qualifies. These terms do not require arbitration and do not include a class-action waiver.
Changes to these terms
If we make an important change to these Terms of Use, we will update the effective date, tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and ask you to tap Agree and continue again. Smaller changes, such as clearer wording or updated contact details, may take effect when posted.
Other terms
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else; we may transfer them as part of a sale, merger or reorganization of the business. These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about CalDone, together with any app-store terms that apply to your download or purchase.
